The idea behind this stop motion/stop-frame animation was that the city of liverpool was going to be invaded by aliens and a student watched it all out of student accomodation window.

The process was that we created 3 different sized space ships so when moving them across the sky it would look as though they were getting closer due to the increase in size and distance. We then used an alien figure and tried to make it as though he was falling through the sky and landed on a house in which he was going to enter and invade.

The use of small rays coming out of the space ship added an effect of deams of light and the highly toxic nature that the space ship was giving off.

This was all created on imovie and we used 3 different tones of music being ambient music, invasion and then alien communication in order to fully convey and add emotion and depth to the animation.
